Johnny Longhots is my charismatic Uncle John from Brooklyn who always has a good joke or an over exaggerated story to tell about the neighborhood.

Growing up in Brooklyn, much like in South Philly, you were often known by a nickname.  Uncle John is known as Johnny Longhots.” 
 
The name “Johnny” is not for the obvious – It’s for being able to “handle” his Johnnie Walker Red.  

“Longhots” comes from his love of Italian Long Hots, which he puts on almost everything – He always says… 

“ ‘Cause everything’s better with Long Hots! ”

As inspired by my Uncle John, I welcome you and your family to where Philadelphia meets New York, here at Johnny Longhots!
